This is a step-by-step guide to help you securely purchase and move $IMT tokens to your Passport account — without losing your funds.
⚠️ Before You Start: Important Notes
- $IMT tokens on centralized exchanges (CEX) are on the Ethereum chain.
- Your Passport wallet is on Immutable zkEVM, a different blockchain.
- You must use a bridge to move $IMT from Ethereum to Immutable zkEVM.
🚫 Never send $IMT directly from a CEX to your Passport address.
This will result in permanent loss of funds, and Planetarium is not responsible for any such loss.
🔁 Transfering $IMT from a CEX to Your Passport Wallet
[ Step 1️⃣ : Withdraw to Your Personal Ethereum Wallet ]
-
Create a personal wallet like MetaMask if you don’t already have one.
-
On the CEX, withdraw your $IMT tokens to your personal Ethereum wallet address.
🚨 DO NOT enter your Passport address here. Only use your personal wallet address.
-
Make sure you have a small amount of $ETH in your personal wallet to pay for gas fees.
[ Step 2️⃣ : Use the Ethereum → Immutable zkEVM Bridge ]
- Go to the official bridge: Ethereum-Immutable zkEVM Bridge
- Connect your personal wallet (e.g., MetaMask).
